Lessons and Carols Hymn Bracket
Help us choose the hymns for our Lessons & Carols service!
Here's all you need to do: just pick the hymn you like better from each pair, and... that's it!
We'll share the weekly link in the worship email each week, on our YouTube livestream, and as a QR Code in the church to an online form where you can vote. We'll also have paper ballots to cast your vote in the Narthex. If there’s a hymn you’re passionate about maybe a bit of good natured campaigning is in order!
The link for this week is https://forms.office.com/r/ektaLMNzXS
Each week's poll will be available from Friday to Tuesday - so get your votes in early!
Don't know a particular hymn? We've listed the hymn number (and book) to help you out, and there are hymnals available in the Narthex. Or, send an email to Rev.AlexaWallace@gmail.com and she’ll send you a link to listen on YouTube.
As a congregation, we'll narrow it down to 8 - 2 each from the "Classics," Evangelical Lutheran Worship (Cranberry Book), Common Praise (the Blue Anglican book), and some new favourites from All Creation Sings (the new purple Lutheran hymn book) and Sing a New Creation (the new Purple Anglican hymn book). Then Pastor Kirk and our wonderful musicians will choose hymns from our shortlist to create our service of Lessons & Carols! (Of course, they might add some of their favourites too!.)
Blessings on your weekend!
