SPECIAL 40TH ANNIVERSARY PRESENTATION OF THE JAZZ SERVICE

All are invited to a special 40th anniversary celebration of Hosanna: a Jazz Setting for Holy Communion. This unique worship setting was cowritten by Dennis Hendricksen and David Hunter when they were students at Lutheran Theological Seminary in Saskatoon. For the past 4 decades this jazz service has been used in numerous places around North America. This special anniversary presentation of the jazz service will include a brief introduction giving the history of this setting. The band will feature some of Regina’s top jazz musicians. There is no cost to attend, instead there will be a free-will offering. The service will take place November 23, 7:00 PM – Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina.
