Saskatoon hospital authorities have changed their practice of recording patient religious preferences. Unless a patient declares their religious preference as Lutheran when admitted to hospital, our Hospital Chaplain, Pastor Richard Engel, will not know. Lutheran patients must clearly ask for the Lutheran Chaplain to visit them. Or, families may let Pastor Engel know. You can inform him by phone/text at 306 229 1663 or email chaplain@luminhos.org.
