To Note:

  • Blue envelopes at the back of the church are for the “Pastor’s Gift” if you wish to contribute a gift of cash or a cheque payable to “Kirk Tastad”. Place your offering in the plate when passed around.

  • Forever in Motion classes are done for 2025 and will start up again on January 6th at Augustana.

  • Singing in the Lutheran Tradition (Winter 2026)
    How do Lutherans sing their theology? This Zoom-based course from Lutheran Theological Seminary explores hymnody as a doxological, formational, and instructional practice—shaping faith in worship and daily devotion. Taught by The Rev. Kristian C. Kohler, the course examines hymns as theological texts and equips participants to engage congregational song thoughtfully and faithfully.

  • In relation to charitable donations, the final deposit of cash and cheque offerings contributed to Augustana in 2025 will be December 30th. E-Transfers will still be accepted on Dec. 31st. We kindly ask that you send in any Year End contributions before 12pm on December 30th so as to be counted correctly on your tax receipt statements for 2025. This would be greatly appreciated.

  •  And just a reminder that your 2025 tax statements will be from March to December 2025 as January to February were sent out in March in relation to the federal government permitting the use of donations made during the period January 1 – February 28, 2025 when filing your 2024 taxes.
